Gluten-Free Chocolate Fondue

This easy gluten-free chocolate fondue is made with just three ingredients: dark chocolate, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt. Serve this homemade chocolate fondue with your favorite gluten-free dippers for a simple, delicious gluten-free dessert that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate - roughly chopped
  • 2 cups gluten-free dippers of choice - strawberries, bananas, gluten-free graham crackers, gluten-free brownies, marshmallows, etc.

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and salt over medium-low heat until hot, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the chopped dark chocolate and stir until completely melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour into a fondue pot to keep warm and serve immediately with your gluten-free dippers.
  • If the fondue begins to feel a little stiff, add a teaspoon of heavy cream and stir. 

Notes

  • If using an electric fondue pot: You can melt the chocolate directly in the fondue pot on low heat. Just add the cream and salt, heat until hot, then stir in the chocolate until melted.
  • No fondue pot? No problem. Keep the chocolate warm in the saucepan over very low heat and serve from there, or transfer to a small slow cooker on the warm setting.
