Peach Frozen Yogurt

This peach frozen yogurt is made with only a few ingredients but is so luscious and creamy. It's a great way to use up ripe peaches this summer.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches (peeled and cut into chunks, about 3 cups total)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 1/2 cups greek yogurt
  • 1-2 tbsp vodka (optional, it helps the frozen yogurt from freezing too hard)

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, puree peaches.
  • Then, add in the honey, yogurt and vodka and blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. It normally takes me about 25 minutes to do this.
  • Scoop frozen yogurt into a freezer safe container and freeze for 2 hours or until ready to eat.
  • Let defrost at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Yields about 1 quart.
