Cook the cake as directed on the back of the box.
Completely cool the cake and then crumble into a large bowl.
Mix in 1 can of vanilla frosting or this vanilla frosting used here.
Next, roll the mixture into small balls (about the size of a quarter) and place on a cookie sheet.
Chill for several hours either in the refrigerator or freezer until the balls are firm for easier dipping into the chocolate.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in a small bowl in 30 second intervals. Mix after each 30 seconds and make sure not to overheat and burn the chocolate.
You may want to melt the chocolate in small doses because it hardens quickly.
Roll the balls in the chocolate and place on wax paper until they harden.
Decorate if you would like before the chocolate firms. Enjoy!
